The Fund for Arkansas' Future, an early stage investment fund based in Little Rock, has invested $400,000 in Infusion Marketing Group LLC, a company formed by two former Acxiom executives.

Investors with the Fund for Arkansas' Future seek investment opportunities in Arkansas-based companies with the potential for rapid growth.

"As a fund, we believe the creation of knowledge-based and technology-based jobs is critical to the future prosperity of our State," said Jeff Stinson, executive director of FAF. "With Infusion Marketing Group, we have an exceptionally strong team who are poised to do great things in Arkansas. In fact, with over 85 years of collective experience in the banking and data management industries, the four initial members of Infusion's management team represent exactly the type of entrepreneurial endeavor our state needs."

Infusion has developed a proprietary, automated, data-management platform that will enable small to mid-sized banks to more effectively cross-sell their products and services. The company's technology will enable smaller banks, with fewer resources, to compete directly with larger banks in the areas of customer acquisition and retention.

"Our management team was fortunate to assemble a strong group of investors from both Tennessee and Arkansas for the launch of our company," said Tom Cloninger, president and CEO of Infusion. "The fact that we were able to raise well over $1 million in start-up capital is a strong vote of confidence for our team. And having a strategic investor like the Fund for Arkansas' Future, whose members have key business relationships throughout the state, is a real bonus for us."

FAF is an early stage investment fund capitalized by accredited investors. With $6.6 million in committed capital from 57 investors, it seeks investment opportunities in Arkansas-based companies.
