Pop N Go Inc. and AVT Inc. announced Nov. 3 the opening of an office in Bentonville. The office will employ 10 people, according to a Pop N Go spokesman, and serve as a base from which national account programs will be launched.
Pop N Go's patented technology allows customers to enjoy fresh popcorn on-demand, while AVT is a manufacturer of vending machines. The two companies announced a partnership in September.
"We intend to offer turnkey solutions to national retailers that will include a national service network," Pop N Go CEO Mel Wyman said in a news release.
According to Pop N Go's Web site, its poppers are in use in convenience stores, airport terminals and malls, among other sites, nationwide.
