Mailmen may carry on in rain, sleet and snow. But a winter storm expected to dump significant amounts of snow and ice on the northern half of the state later this week has halted the renowned University of Arkansas Business Forecast Luncheon in its tracks.
The luncheon, originally scheduled fior Friday, Jan. 29, is being postponed due to the anticipated inclement weather.
The luncheon has been rescheduled for 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 5, at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in Rogers.
The Business Forecast luncheon is hosted by the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. For more information, contact Steve Voorhies, media-relations manager for the University, at 479-575-3583.
