Arkansas Venture Forum Selects Presenting Companies

The presenting companies have been selected for the 2010 Arkansas Venture Forum, set for Wed., Sept. 15, at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Little Rock.
The Forum is presented by Arkansas Capital Corporation and provides an opportunity for 12 Arkansas startups to pitch their goods and services to national investors.
The companies selected to present are: BlueInGreen, BiologicsMD, NanoMech, Vastech (doing business as Young at Heart-North America), Silicon Solar Solutions, Acumen Holdings, Black Oak Partners, Vertical Studio, and webcast companies only are Rx Results, Balm Innovations (DBA Omnibalm), MerchantView and Pathagility. All are Innovate Arkansas clients.
In addition to company presentations, the Forum will include panel discussions on fundraising, the Arkansas angel-investor climate and entrepreneur development. The keynote speaker is Howard Morgan, serial entrepreneur, founding partner of First Round capital and former professor at Cornell and Penn's Wharton School and Moore School.
Registration for the Forum is ongoing, with early-bird registration of $85 running through Aug. 30. The price jumps to $100 thereafter.
