ArkansasSports360.com: Arkansas In Spotlight on ESPN Tonight Against Kentucky
1/17/2012 10:44:45 AM
Today on ArkansasSports360.com:
Tonight’s Arkansas game at Kentucky will tip at 8 p.m. and is the first for Arkansas on ESPN's "Super Tuesday" slot — regarded as prime basketball broadcast time nationally — since the 2007-08 season. That’s three-plus years worth of Arkansas games that, for the most part, escaped national attention.
Kentucky is ranked No. 2 and has a 17-1 record. Coach John Calipari has accomplished a lot using freshman players with the Wildcats.
Kenny Ingram’s status as an interim assistant at Arkansas State has been upgraded. Ingram, the former Memphis defensive coordinator, has been added to Gus Malzahn’s staff at ASU as defensive line coach. Ingram was serving as a temporary assistant for the Red Wolves during preparation for the GoDaddy.com Bowl.
