Mosaic Church in Little Rock partnered with local food truck operators to open the University Market at 4Corners, a food truck court, last Wednesday near the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

The church provided a parking lot at 6221 Col. Glenn Road, a former Kmart property Mosaic is buying, from which the food trucks operate. The church’s goal is to contribute to community revitalization.

If all goes well, the church will rent out parking spots for the trucks. About eight trucks used the lot last week. A schedule for when specific trucks will operate at the court has not been set, church spokesperson Jennifer Harrison said.
