Made by Few, the 7-Up of conferences, will try and top its 2012 inaugural event on May 4 from the Clinton Presidential Center.
So far, some pretty impressive national speakers are lined up.
MxF, as the kids say, is “a Tech Conference featuring talks from leading entrepreneurs, designers, developers, and creatives. It’s part showcase, part education, and part inspiration.”
It’ll run all day on Sat., May 4, with a brunch meetup on Sunday.
And this year, MxF will feature a pre-event on Fri., May 3: Designed by Few. It’s basically MxF for designers, and tickets are just $15 if you want to attend but not participate.
DxF (I suppose we had to go there) will feature contests and prizes and all sorts of good stuff, including “networking, learning and high fives.”
We’ll let the official press release tell you more:
BEST LOCAL DESIGNERS SHOWCASED IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
LITTLE ROCK, AR, January 7, 2013 – Designers from all over the state of Arkansas will gather on May 3, 2013 to watch three selected graphic designers compete for a title and sweet prizes at Designed by Few, held in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Designed by Few is the new pre-event Made by Few, a tech conference being held on May 4 at the Clinton Presidential Center. Gabe Couch, founder of Designed by Few, says, “We are looking for the most talented designers in Arkansas to compete in front of a live audience for the chance to win awesome prizes and bragging rights as the first ever DxF Champion.”
Three designers will be selected from submissions. Designers may submit their work on the event website and spectators can watch the chosen designers compete while learning techniques and sharing with others gathered to network. Light refreshments and a DJ will be available for entertainment. For those who just wish to attend, tickets are only $15.
Designed by Few will be an inspiring event for artists, designers and creatives in Arkansas. Networking, learning and high fives are among the many pros to attending the event.
Couch goes on to say, “This isn’t just a competition for us, this is about growing the community, learning new tricks and getting inspired by the talent and creativity in Arkansas. This gives these designers a great stage to show their amazing talents to the attendees.”
