The Iceberg stop opened Wednesday night for ARK Challenge Demo Day on Thursday at Crystal Bridges in Bentonville.
Little Rock’s PBX took home the Judge’s Choice Award and a $1,000 prize. It’s a 2013 ARK Challenge participant and recently launched at XNA.
CrossFleet, based in Fayetteville and featured here in Arkansas Business, took home the People’s Choice Award and $1,000.
PBX developed a “luggage passport,” a mobile app designed to increase the efficiency of airline baggage handling. CrossFleet’s LOCATE app provides shippers with real-time tracking of truckload shipments via GPS from the truck driver’s smartphone.
The latest Fayetteville stop was the first of a good fall run for G60, the Shark Tank-inspired pitch competition started by IA adviser Jeff Amerine. G60 returns to Rogers and the John Q. Hammons Center on Friday as part of the 2013 NWA Business Conference & Expo.
In October, G60 will hit Russellville and North Little Rock. On Oct. 10, it’ll be held at Arkansas Tech’s Lake Point Conference Center, and on Oct. 15, it’ll play The Joint in Argenta.
Another stop is scheduled for Jonesboro on Nov. 7.
