Economine and Passenger Baggage Xpress were the top winners at G60 Russellville last week.
The popular pitch contest developed by Innovate Arkansas has made stops all over the state, and on Thursday made its first trip to Russellville. Arkansas Tech University hosted G60 at its beautiful Lake Point Conference Center.
Here are the results, courtesy of John Riggins, Entrepreneur in Residence in the College of Business at Tech and the school’s Governor’s Cup coach (Riggins also is president of The Riggins Group in Little Rock and works closely with IA client InvoTek):
ATU student Jacob Brown pitched his Economine, a new venture that mines local economic data for businesses to use in planning and targeting. Clear Ballistics makes clear gel forms for ballistics testing (from John: Think Myth Busters and the forms they make by hand when they shoot stuff.)
PBX, of course, is a G60 veteran having won at G60s in Fayetteville, El Dorado and Rogers. Its airline luggage tracking app was recently soft launched at Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport.
Congrats to all the winners. Keep up the good work.
And, of course, G60 returns to action Tuesday night in Argenta….
