It’s official. Noble Impact is partnering with Startup Weekend to bring the first-ever High School Startup Weekend to Little Rock.
The Arkansas High School Startup Weekend will play the Statehouse Convention Center Friday through Sunday, March 14-16.

Noble Impact is partnering with Startup Weekend to launch the first ever High School Startup Weekend. In partnership with the Kauffman Foundation and Google, this 54-hour educational event has been held in more than 500 cities in over 100 countries. We are extremely proud to host this inaugural high school event in Little Rock on March 14-16.
To insure a high quality learning experience, we are only accepting 15 teams of 4-6 students, which also must have a teacher accompaniment to facilitate throughout the weekend. The event will culminate on Sunday afternoon, March 16th, as student teams will pitch their ideas to an esteemed panel of judges.

Noble Impact’s mission is to engage students to pursue public service as entrepreneurs. This requires innovation, critical thinking and problem solving — all elements found in this 54-hour educational experience.
Last month, six Noble Impact students from Little Rock’s eStem High School participated in Startup Weekend Northwest Arkansas and created a startup called PassionPull. As we’ve noted here a lot recently, youth entrepreneurship is trending up in Arkansas right now.
