They rolled up the solar panels, fired ‘em up, and the first Advanced Energy Day at the Legislature on Wednesday at the Arkansas State Capitol was a success, by all accounts.
The AAEA is hosting two “Celebrating Advanced Energy Jobs in Arkansas” receptions at the end of the month, and its 2012 annual meeting is scheduled for Nov. 27.
The Arkansas Advanced Energy Association on Monday released findings from a report that says more than 11,000 Arkansans work in the advanced energy sector.
NextGen’s Jerry McCormick made the announcement at a roundtable discussion on advanced energy at which business leaders discussed the results of a recent survey gauging Arkansans’ interest in the field.
