Consensus is a growth-stage pharmaceutical company with four drug candidates currently in development. These drugs are described as novel HSP-90 inhibitors for treatment of a broad range of cancers, Orexin 1 receptor antagonists that are cross indicated for treatment of sleep disorders, obesity, and drug addiction, an HIV combination drug treatment that mediates the clearance and metabolism factors for one of the leading and most effective FDA approved HIV drugs on the market, and an anti-coagulant prodrug similar to Warfarin and predicted to have a broader/safer therapeutic range of effectiveness and a cause a reduction in the overall number of harmful side effects in patients from drug-drug, and drug-food interactions. The Warfarin pro-drug represents a significant discovery within the emerging field of “personalized” medicine.
