PerioSeal, Inc. is a privately held dental implant company that markets and sells it patented dental implant system primarily to the general dentist market. There are about 160,000 general dentists as compared to 10,000 specialists in the U.S and only about 10 percent of them place implants. Through improved dental school programs, the general dentist is now better trained, and with the improved patient oral hygiene and fewer cavities, the general dentists are looking for additional ways to increase practice revenue.
PerioSeal’s easy to use implant system has been designed for the general practitioner and the company’s strategy is to continue to provide an additional revenue stream for general dentists.
