Mission

To help Arkansas compete nationally and globally, Innovate Arkansas will coordinate efforts to help the growth of indigenous technology and knowledge-based enterprises that can diversify Arkansas' economy and increase the base of higher-paying jobs in the state.

Innovate Arkansas will work with new technology-based entrepreneurs as they move new inventions and high-tech service concepts toward viable commercial enterprises. By doing so, Arkansas will benefit from an increase in higher-paying jobs and better opportunities for its college-educated youth, as well as entice young professionals from outside the state to relocate to Arkansas.
 
Vision
 
Innovate Arkansas’ vision is that clients will steadily increase higher-paying jobs and employment opportunities across the state, causing Arkansas' per capita income to rise to the U.S. national average over the next decade.

By creating these new opportunities, Arkansas will cultivate an environment of economic and technology innovation that will keep more Arkansas college graduates in the state and allow more chances to recruit out-of-state college graduates to move to Arkansas. By increasing deal flow to the various stages of capital investment that exist in Arkansas and nationally, more technology-based enterprises will be created. This will increase higher paying jobs in Arkansas.
 
Objectives

• To recruit and assist technology entrepreneurs by conducting product assessments, market feasibility analysis, commercialization strategies, business plan development and product and concept valuation
• To work with university research centers to assist those technology innovations already identified in the university settings, and help provide the necessary business and financial support services
• Identify existing technology employers who have unused or "on-the-shelf" intellectual property to negotiate control of the IP, match IP with serial entrepreneurs and develop IP
