Doors open at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 17th for the Chamber's 144th Annual Meeting. Presented by Chesapeake Energy Corporation, the lunch event will begin at noon in the Wally Allen Ballroom of the Statehouse Convention Center.

The program, presented by Hickingbotham Investments, Inc., will feature former White House Chief of Staff and Little Rock Regional Chamber Chairman Thomas F. (Mack) McLarty hosting a panel of experts on the global economy ??? David Gergen (Political Analyst, CNN), Richard W. Fisher (President & CEO, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas) and Dr. Nicholas R. Lardy (Senior Fellow, Peterson Institute for International Economics).

Herren Hickingbotham (Hickingbotham Investments, Inc.), the Chamber's 2009 chairman, will present a review of the year, which saw the Little Rock metro named the fourth strongest economy in America. 2010 Chairman Barbara Graves (Barbara Graves Intimate Fashions) will look to the year ahead.

McLarty's panel follows a Chamber tradition of featuring world renowned, A-list speakers at the meeting, including Marilyn Carlson Nelson (2008), Roger Penske (2007), T. Boone Pickens (2006), Henry Kissinger (2005) and President Bill Clinton (2004).

Chairman's Circle sponsorships, which include a reserved, priority seating tables of ten (10) and promotional consideration before, during and after the event, are available for $1,500.
